Randomness

Wow, reading all you guys' new blogs and/or comments has really put me in the mood for writing something myself. Unfortunately (or fortunately for you, as the case may be) I don't have much of anything to say. I could just make stuff up like a certain dead friend of mine (hint- he's tall) but in respect of his memory (because he is dead,) I'll try to stick to fact.

You guys (meaning Cait and Jenn) sure did come up with all kinds of deep stuff contained in the HP books. Spencer has some stuff too. I feel downright cultured having read the books now. Funny how I can be infused with culture without even realizing it. I'm going to have to become pretentious now, which should be fun. I can handle being a snob. I can't even see all you people right now, my nose is so high.

We have strangers in our back yard right now. They're cutting down limbs. We didn't ask them to. Strange, hmm? "People are strange... When you're a stranger... Faces look ugly... when you're alone... Women seem wicked... when you're unwanted... " Am I the only person who takes offense that women are the ones singled out for being wicked in that song? Granted, many of us are. Or, excuse me, many of YOU are (nose high up in the air) but does it need to be so pointedly mentioned?

By the way, my gall bladder's days are numbered. It's coming out in one week. Poor little gall bladder. I think it heard the news. And here's something interesting. Apparently, once the gall bladder comes out, the tube that used to lead from it (the bile duct) then takes over the duties of the gall bladder and does a much better job. Isn't that interesting? Also, you know how the appendix doesn't really seem to do much of anything? That's because its use is now obsolete, not that it doesn't actually do anything. In fact, it seems the original function of the appendix was to help digest raw meat. Oh this crazy, interesting world.

Poor little gallbladder! In a way, I'm glad it's leaving because it has been misbehaving, but on the other hand, I'm not because you have to have surgery. I'm sure you'll feel much better once it's out, though. And I'm sorry for your friend's death. Alas, poor Brian, I knew him well. Actually, I don't know how well I knew him... Anyway, I'm glad to see a new post from you! :-)

I'm glad to see the new post! Keep em comin'! I, for one, am glad your gall bladder is coming out...it's got nerve to act up on a cruise...ungrateful. I mean, you took it to Ireland and this is the thanks you get? I say distance yourself from it as much as possible...
